Welcome to the Profishient Charters Lake Michigan Fishing Report Page. We will keep you updated throughout our season with fishing reports from Michigan City beginning in April and then reports from Saugatuck starting in May and running through October.
March 2008: Finally its March and with any luck we are turning the corner on the cold and snow situation and will be fishing in no time. In just a few short weeks the boat will be in the water and on its way to Michigan City to kick off the '08 charter fishing season. We are continuing to steadily book trips through the spring months, so its best to look at your dayplanners now and start thinking about fishing!
Our new website is done, and the 2008 pricing is set...which we believe is the most affordable on the entire lake for a 7 hour fishing period (and better than most if not all 5 and 6 hour charters too!). We dropped our rates this year on certain charter packages despite record fuel prices.
Our past customers will be receiving our emailer with all the 2008 info this week. Send us an email with your contact information to be added to our list.
It hard to predict what fishing will be like this season, but dating back to the last hard winter we had about 5-6 years ago when the entire lake iced over, spring fishing was outstanding and the fish stayed longer and in better numbers down here at our end of the lake. Only time will tell, and in a couple of weeks we will have a better feel for it once we get some lines in the water!
Stay tuned !
Tight Lines,
Profishient Crew
